Forever In My Heart Charity Gala

This formal fundraiser on Sunday, September 24th, 3-8pm at the Wadsworth Mansion features live music, sumptuous dining, and amazing auction items all to benefit The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation and the City of Middletown’s K-9 unit.

Hosting the event is Mira Jewelry – the jeweler to the stars whose pieces were featured gifts for attendees at this year’s Golden Globes and Academy Awards events in Los Angeles. Guest Em-cee for the event is Heidi Voight, multimedia journalist, and NBC Connecticut news anchor. Fea-tured speakers include Marc Ching, founder of The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation and Connecticut State Representative Diana Urban.

The proceeds from the gala tickets sales are going to benefit the Middletown K9 unit which is in a process of becoming a non-profit 501-c and the money will be used to cover expenses like bullet proof vests for the dogs and vet bills for the retired dogs, once the dog retires the town does not provide any funding for the care of the animal.

All of the proceeds from the sponsorships and auction items will benefit The Animal Hope & Well-ness Foundation, organization which is n the front- line savings dogs from the Dog Meat Trade in Asia, rehabilitating them and finding the forever homes. They also put tremendous work and ef-fords into changing the laws and ending the obuse and torture of inicint animals. To find out more about this organization visit their website at https://animalhopeandwellness.org

Every year, more than 10,000 dogs and cats are brutally tortured and killed during the Yulin festival, many of them stolen from their owners.

The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation not only tries to rescue the animals from the #MeatTrade but puts enormous efforts into putting laws in place to protect them from being abused and tortured. They also rehabilitate and rehome the dogs rescued from Asia.
