The Max Challenge for South Windsor

Listen below as Renee chats with Ray Favreau, Director of South Windsor Parks & Recreation and Kim Lachapelle, owner of THE MAX Challenge of South Windsor about THE MAX Challenge of South Windsor 5K and Vendor fair. Proceeds from these events will raise money for the town of South Windsor’s Healthy Habits Initiative! The initiative will support projects related to resident education, community gardens, the local Food & Fuel bank, and much more.

Join THE MAX Challenge SW for a 5K and Vendor event on April 13th at 1735 Main Street, in South Windsor. The 5K race is on a flat course down historic Main St. and will start at 9 am.

The Vendor fair is free admission and will be rain or shine until 2 pm. We will have kids activities, food trucks, vendors + more!

Cost for the 5K is just $20!

On April 13th, 2019, THE MAX challenge of South Windsor CT will be hosting a 5K and Vendor fair to raise money for the town of south Windsor’s Healthy Habits Initiative. THE MAX Challenge mission to surpass a goal of $500,000 raised for local charities across the country for our MAX Challenge Day of Giving event.

“Our annual Day of Giving event is proof that as a community we are capable of great things, amazing things, and nothing is out of our reach,” Founder and CEO, Bryan Klein said as he energized his franchise owners nationwide. “Our core values are rooted in helping others and THE MAX Challenge Day Giving provides another way for us to make a difference in the world!”

THE MAX Challenge of South Windsor CT will be raising money for a new ‘Healthy Habits Initiative’ directly supporting all families in South Windsor through the South Windsor Parks and Recreation and The South Windsor Community Foundation & Food Alliance. The Healthy Habits initiative will support projects related to resident education, community gardens, the local Food & Fuel bank, and much more. It’s important to us at THE MAX Challenge of South Windsor to support our local community.
