An Oregon high school coach who took a gun away from a student on campus, then hugged him is being recognized for his bravery and compassion.
Keanon Lowe is receiving the country’s highest honor from theCongressional Medal of Honor Foundation.
He’s one of six recipients for 2020 and will receive the Single Act of Heroism Award.
