While battling her way through cancer treatment for the second time,Janet Bitterman had one goal in mind that helped get her through the dark times. The Coal Township, Pennsylvania woman wanted to get finished with her treatment and get well so she could hop on a Harley and catch a ride on the motorcycle with her grandson.
Bitterman spent a year fighting and enduring treatment for colon cancer and her motivation for dealing with it was to get better so she could go for a motorcycle ride. Now the 85-year-old is cancer free and her grandson took her for an hour-long ride to make her wish come true. “This is what I was striving for,” she says.
