STUDY: VEGETARIANS ARE LESS HEALTHY THAN MEAT-EATERS
According to a new study from Austria, vegetarians are actually "less healthy" than meat-eaters.
Researchers found that, among other things, people who eat less meat are more likely to have negative health habits, such as not going to the doctor.
While vegetarians do usually have a lower BMI and drink less booze, they also deal with a higher rate of cancer, allergies and mental health disorders, such as anxiety disorder and depression.
Not only that, they also have a higher need for health care and poorer quality of life. (FHM)
