This Year's Most Controversial Halloween Costume?

  • Party City is selling an “Adult Wall Costume,” which is basically a pull over with bricks that says “The Wall”
  • It doesn’t actually mention that it’s referencing Donald Trump’s border wall to keep immigrants out of our country, but it’s still not sitting right with a lot of people
  • One person actually thinks it’s a reference to Pink Floyd’s “The Wall”

When picking a Halloween costume, some people go scary, some go sexy and some just like to have fun, but one jokey costume that’s hit the market is doing anything but make people laugh.

Party City is selling an “Adult Wall Costume,” which is basically a pull over with bricks that says “The Wall.” While it doesn’t actually mention that it’s referencing Donald Trump’s border wall to keep immigrants out of our country, it’s still not sitting right with a lot of people.

“Really @PartyCity? A “Build The Wall” costume?” one person Tweeted. “This isn’t about being politically correct, it’s about being decent [sic] human beings!!!!!” Meanwhile, another added, “If I see anyone wearing a “The Wall” costume, fair warning, you’re getting punched. Like hard.”

  • But at least one person seems to think the costume has nothing to do with Trump, but we think it’s a bit of a stretch. “This is not a racist costume,” the person wrote. “It’s just a reference to Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ album cover.”
