If you want to adopt the sweetest, cuddliest lap cat, Blackie is your girl! You'll find it hard to believe that she was rescued from a very cruel and neglectful home because she is extremely affectionate and loves to be pet. Blackie makes for great company as she loves to be with her humans. She'll get excited when you come home and lounge around next to you! She loves chasing her toy mice, playing with fur balls, watching Cat TV and gazing out the window. She has beautiful green, soulful eyes.
Blackie was born around March 17, 2018, and is currently being fostered in Waterbury. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV*
All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved.

The organization is funded exclusively by local individual donations, and receives neither corporate nor government sponsorship or funding. Foster and Forever Pet Rescue is 501(c)3 tax exempt & registered with the State of Connecticut.
We are a no-kill pet rescue organization with one important goal: to find homes for every member of our Foster and Forever Family, irrespective of age or health. Foster and Forever will take all the necessary steps to achieve this goal, from rescuing and taking in aging, abused or ill animals, to providing them with the medical attention and socialization skills they need, to seeking out and vetting prospective owners in order to ensure that these animals find themselves in warm and loving forever homes that are the perfect fit for their unique needs.
