Honor Jesse Lewis and Choose Love

Choose Love was created in honor Jesse Lewis who was killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting 10-years ago. This nonprofit’s mission is to create safer and more loving communities through no cost Character Social Emotional Development programs (CSED) that are suited for all stages of life. They offer programs tailored for any age from toddlers through adulthood. At the core of it all is a simple formula that anyone can learn and practice to nourish and strengthen the body, mind, and emotions to cultivate happy, healthy, meaningful lives and to thoughtfully respond to all we meet and improve the world around us.

The formula: Courage + Gratitude + Forgiveness + Compassion in Action = Choosing Love

Choose Love is seeking sponsors for its fundraiser at Quassy Amusement and Water Park in Middlebury, CT on June 30th from 4 to 8 PM. The event will honor Jesse Lewis and will benefit the Choose Love Movement free character social emotional development programs for children and adults.

This family fun day at Quassy Park is a celebration of what would have been Jesse’s 16th birthday. The theme “Have a Lot of Fun,” is the last message he left for his brother.
