Its finally here and fans are ready! From award-winning creator Julian Fellowes comes the motion picture event DOWNTON ABBEY: A NEW ERA. The much-anticipated cinematic return of the global phenomenon reunites the beloved cast as they go on a grand journey to the South of France to uncover the mystery of the Dowager Countess’ newly inherited villa.

In theaters only and the earliest I’m hearing of any streaming opportunities will be no less than 45 days of its theatrical release.

Saturday join Scot and me at the Walk Against Hunger – we’ve been hosting these walks together for over 10 years! Happening at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats. Registration starts at 8am!

Lots of ways to help pets this weekend!

The Greater New Haven Cat Project is having a tag sale! Join us and take home some treasures! The address for the is 2 Belfast St. Milford, CT 06460 and the tag sale takes place on Saturday, May 21th from 9am – 3pm.

Also Saturday Join Bikers Against Animal Cruelty for the first supply ride of the season! A 30+ mile ride that will stop at 3 rescue organizations to deliver supplies. All riders welcome! No cost to ride! Donations of pet supplies are encouraged. Let's ride! Rain date TBD. Cars are welcome to follow. For details visit www.bikersagainstanimalcruelty.org

And don’t forget the horses! Come celebrate the 5th Anniversary at Autumn Ridge, the farm for the Connecticut Draft Horse Rescue (113 Chestnut Hill Rd, East Hampton, CT 06424) on Saturday, May 21st.   Admission is FREE! Come meet the CDHR horses from 11am - 3pm. There will be vendors, raffles, wagon rides, and fun for the entire family!  Food will be provided by Hearth and Soul Wood Oven Pizza. There will be plenty of parking in the hayfield or along the street, if needed.  This event is rain or shine.

Sunday, wrap your weekend up by helping our friends in the Ukraine. Ukrainian Relief Benefit Concert - Drop in and join the Mystic String Quartet as they perform a free concert to raise money for the Ukrainian refugee crisis. From 2pm to 4pm Stay as long as you'd like. All proceeds donated to Mercy Corps.
