National Mentoring Month is an annual campaign started in 2002 by MENTOR. It aims to unify and expand the mentoring movement nationwide, celebrate the power of mentoring relationships and raise awareness around the importance of youth mentoring in the United States.
Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters – Connecticut’s premier youth mentoring organization – is marking National Mentoring Month by saluting its Big Brothers and Big Sisters (adult mentors), past and present. Nutmeg is also asking all local adults who’ve ever considered becoming mentors to sign up now at www.nbbbs.org for the greatest adventure and experience of their lives.
