This annual fundraiser directly supports HFTB's mission to help homeless individuals, most of whom are Veterans, return to independence. The event takes place Saturday, September 14th at Webster Bank Arena.

Join Homes for the Brave for our signature fundraising event of the year! Step Up for the Brave is a unique, vertical challenge where participants test themselves and others in honor of our brave service men and women! One time around the course is a combination of 1,000 steps and stairs. Participants will have at least 90 minutes to complete their individual goals.
Bring friends and family to cheer you on. Fun is front and center at Webster Bank Arena for all to enjoy. Anyone 8 years and older is eligible to participate in the challenge. The event draws hundreds of people from across Connecticut and beyond.
It costs $35 to register per person. Registration fee includes an event shirt, light breakfast, and medal. Click here to register.
Proceeds from this event will support our mission to help homeless individuals, most of whom are Veterans, return to independence. To date, we have served over 1,300 people, helping them with housing, nutrition, life skills, computer training, and so much more.
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female climbers. New this year! For every $100 raised, an individual will receive one entry to win a grand prize. The more money raised, the greater the chance to win!
