People and Pets: Pet Tips

Here are some pet tips to help make the holidays less stressful and much safer for our pets…especially since both holidays tend to be celebrated with chocolate treats and flowers that could be dangerous…even deadly for some dogs and cats.

• Keep ALL candy away from dogs. And don’t leave tasty wrappers laying around.

• If you’re planning an Easter egg hunt…please remember where you hide all the goodies…it’ll take about a nanosecond for dogs to find and enjoy them.

• Also…remember that, while many flowers are problems for cats, ALL parts of the Easter Lilly plant are especially poisonous to cats. Consuming even a small amount could use up all nine of their lives in minutes!
