Chiefs Player Celebrates Super Bowl Win By Paying Adoption Fees For 91 Dogs

After the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi celebrated his team’s victory by making “snow angels” in the confetti on the field. But then the star player did something to help animals in need - he paid off the adoption fees for every single dog up for adoption at all KC Pet Project locations.

And it’s not the first time he’s worked with them, after each Chiefs win during the season, Nnadi would pay off the adoption fee for a dog in the shelter. The Derrick Nnadi Foundation has also done work with the Ronald McDonald House and Boys and Girls Club. And the shelter says all dogs funded by the player during the season have now found homes.
