New Netflix Sci-fi Movie "IO" - LONGEST 90 Minutes of your life.
My husband and I watched this movie last night, due to my not so great eyesight, I kept calling it TEN, when the movie started, my husband (laughing mind you) said, it's "EYE OH" you dope! #LMAO
ANYWAY, he fell asleep multiple times, I was not that lucky. I wanted to like this movie. The actress Margaret Qualley , who is the daughter of supermodel and actress Andie MacDowell is great and I LOVE Anthony Mackie of The Avengers, etc. The movie looks cool, the scenery is outstanding, the premise is great for any respectable sci-fi lover.
HOWEVER, I kept waiting for something to happen, the only reason why I kept watching. The love interest between them was a little creepy (he was supposed to be older, she plays a young character) and I kept waiting for anything to happen, I mean ANYTHING.
I would love to see this movie remade with SCENES ADDED of ANYTHING HAPPENING. When I went to do a little more research on it, I found this review below - I couldn't have said it better myself, so to note, I totally support this guys review. HOWEVER, having said all this, I didn't hate it, totally acceptable to put on and fall asleep to, don't worry if you do, don't rewind...you didn't miss ANYTHING.
