If you've ever wanted to live on your own personal island and operate a historic lighthouse, now is the time.
The East Brother Light Station in California is looking for a new operator.
The lighthouse stands atop a small island off of the coast near the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge and San Francisco Bay.
The current operators recommend applicants be a couple as the living spaces are small and operators will spend most of the day in close proximity.
A U.S. Coast Guard approved captain license is required to obtain the position and must be held by at least one of the applicants.
The requirements pale in comparison to the pay-rate which starts at $130,000 a year.
Those interested in the job can apply on the East Brother Light Station Facebook page.
