The top three spots this weekend were all taken by debuts. The highly anticipated Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” was a hit at the Box Office, making $50 million for its first weekend. It made its mark with one of the best showings for a biopic, plus it earned much more than expected.
Meanwhile, “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” also had a great opening weekend, although it still debuted far behind “Bohemian Rhapsody,” raking in $20 million for the second spot. Tyler Perry’s first R-rated comedy “Nobody’s Fool” earned the third spot for its debut, making $14 million.
Meanwhile, “A Star Is Born” and “Halloween” are still going strong. “A Star Is Born” made $11-point-one million, making its five-week total well over $150 million. “Halloween” made $11 million for a three-week total just above $150 million.
