A miracle baby born 13 weeks early and weighing only one pound, four ounces, is finally heading home. Hannah Bella Rodriguez was born on July 11th at Nassau University Medical Center on Long Island and she has earned the distinction of being the smallest child ever born there.
In her short life, doctors say this tiny girl has made wonderful progress and she’s now weighing in at a healthy five pounds, five ounces. Hannah’s mom, Jennifer Pena, thanked the medical team who took good care of her and her baby.
“I never lost my faith. She’s always going to be my beautiful baby and I love her,” the proud mama says. “She doesn’t let me sleep at night, but I’m in love with her.”
