Man Gives Away 1000 Free Hotel Nights to Evacuees

Since Hurricane Florence hit the east coast, a man in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina opened his hotel to evacuees. Jaret Huck– owner of Midtown Inn and Cottages – has given over 1000 free nights to his neighbors and their pets.

Huck said he doesn’t mind $50,000 loss, he just wanted to give back to those in need. Apparently other families have also kept the generosity going and volunteered to help with the housekeeping while others have donated food, ice, diapers, and clothes.

The Innkeeper said his greatest reward for has been the handwritten thank you letters he receives from the kids.
