John Mellencamp has a new album and new tour on the way.
The album, Other People’s Stuff, is due out November 16th. It's the 23rd studio album of his career. The tour -- billed as The John Mellencamp Show-- will be an evening with the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and have no opening act. It starts February 7th in South Bend, Indiana and wraps up March 30th in Clearwater, Florida. Tickets go on sale September 21st, and each ticket bought online comes with a physical copy of Other People's Stuff.
An Indiana native, Mellencamp got his start in the mid-'70s in New York. He achieved mainstream success in 1982 with American Fool, a 5x multi-platinum album that featured the hit song "Hurts So Good."
Nearly four decades later, Mellencamp is still going strong, with a 2019 tour that will feature 26 stops, starting in South Bend, Ind. (Mellencamp's home state) in February and wrapping up in Florida with a March 30 concert in Clearwater, Fla.
