The University of Connecticut's football team's season opener is on Thursday night.
The marching band will honor the family of a Parkland, Florida school shooting victim who dreamed of attending the university.
14-year-old Alex Schachter loved UConn and wanted to play trombone in the band. The school admitted him posthumously.
The band will play his favorite song "25 or 6 to 4" by Chicago and spell out the name "Alex" on Rentschler Field.
Alex's family will attend the game in East Hartford.
