How To Stop Bug Bites From Itching

Bugs are loving this summer, but that means we’re getting bit…a lot.

Instead of suffering through the itching that follows, you can try this simple hack. In case you didn’t know, when you scratch an itch, the body releases more histamines that make us itch even more. So, the trick is not to scratch.

After you’re done laughing, because we know how hard not scratching is, try this hack. Slap some clear nail polish on your bug bite area. It cuts off the oxygen to the bite and that helps stop the itch. Plus, if you do scratch you’ll be doing it on the polish and not your skin.

Give it a try!
