A Month of Graveyard Shift Ghost Tours at The Mark Twain House & Museum

October is the month for "ghosties and ghoulies, and long-legged beasties, and things that go bump in the night," and nine of those nights will feature The Mark Twain House & Museum's acclaimed Graveyard Shift Ghost Tours.

These dusk and after-dark tours run on Friday, October 6; Friday, October 13; Saturday, October 14; Thursday, October 19; Friday, October 20; Saturday, October 21; Thursday, October 26; Friday, October 27; and Saturday, October 28.Four tours are offered each evening: 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m, and 9:00 p.m.

Filled with haunted history, dark tales, and Victorian traditions surrounding seances and spiritualism, these nighttime tours are as educational as they are goosebump-inducing. Participants will hear lots of creepy tales -- and learn about Mark Twain's interest in the supernatural.

The Mark Twain House has been featured on Syfy Channel's Ghost Hunters and the Biography Channel's My Ghost Story.
