Hollister House Garden invites garden enthusiasts for the annual ‘Sale of Rare and Unusual Plants’ Saturday, September 9th and Sunday, September 10th. Attendees are invited to discover unique plants, from premium vendors from throughout New England exhibiting at the sale. Interested plant sale attendees can choose from two options ‘Preview Buying and Cocktails’ on Saturday, September 9th 4-6:30pm or the ‘All-Day Plant Sale’ Sunday, September 10th from 9am-3:30pm.
The annual plant sale serves as an important fundraiser for Hollister House Garden. The vendors that will be on premises for include Atlock Flower Farm (Saturday only), Broken Arrow Nursery, Cricket Hill Garden, David Burdick – Bulb, Botanical Obsessions, Falls Village Flower Farm, Green Spot, Issima, Meadowbrook Gardens, McCue Gardens, O’Brien Nurserymen and Tiny Meadow Farm. The plant sale will be held rain or shine.
The Sale of Rare and Unusual Plants ‘Preview Buying and Cocktails in the Garden’ tickets for Saturday, September 9th are $65 for non-members and $50 for HHG members, tickets for the ‘All-Day Plant Sale and Garden Admission’ will be available for $10 when purchased in advance online or $12 cash when purchased at the gate. Hollister House Garden is a non-profit corporation and a Preservation Partner of the Garden Conservancy, whose mission is to identify and preserve important private gardens across America for the education and enjoyment of the public. In 2010 Hollister House achieved its prestigious listing on the National Register of Historic Places. The property has also been named a Town Landmark Site by the Town of Washington.
