  • Visit a Fall Farm: There are so many local farms to visit in Connecticut! Silverman's Farm has twenty varieties of pick-your-own apples, endless pumpkins, a petting farm, hayrides, and a farm stand. This family-owned farm has all things fall! And if you guess the weight of your pumpkin correctly at checkout, you get it FREE! Benedict’s Home and Garden is the perfect place for fall festivities and goodies. The garden center is a fall oasis, offering a variety of pumpkins, gourds, hay barrels, corn stalks, and everything you need to decorate for the fall season. Try out the pies from Oronoque Farms, apple cider donuts from Chaves Bakery, and apple cider and apples from Norton Brothers Fruit Farm. And don’t miss the Cow Path Nature Trails, where you’ll get to see cows up close. Jones Family Farm is a “one-stop shop” for all things fall, with a corn maze, pumpkins, hayrides, and a vineyard.  
  • Visit a Cider Mill: Connecticut is home to some of the oldest operating Cider Mills in the country. These family-run businesses have been operating for generations and have the best homemade apple cider. Check out Beardsley Cider Mill in Shelton, Hogans Cider Mill in Burlington, or Clyde’s Cider Mill in Mystic.  
  • Visit a CT Corn Maze: The most suggested corn maze is at Castle Hill Farm. The corn maze spans over seven acres, and each year they create a completely new maze. They even a “Flashlight Corn Maze” experience if you’re looking for a bigger challenge! It’s one of the most picturesque farms with over 40 different varieties of pick your own pumpkins, hayrides, a farm stand, an EPIC corn maze, special events, and more.  
  • Visit a CT Vineyard or Brewery: Exploring the Connecticut Wine Trail includes 40 unique vineyards state-wide, making it a fun fall bucket list activity. Connecticut is also home to hundreds of local breweries. Two Roads Brewing has everything you need for an afternoon of fall fun.  
  • Go Camping: Whether you are looking for camping grounds in the woods, along the coastline, lakes, or even secluded islands, you’re sure to find the right one for you! There are 1,400 campsites in CT, and camping is the perfect fall activity!
