Fast-Food Fish Sandwiches Ranked Just in Time for Lent

Lent, the season when many Christians trade meat for fish! One brave man took decided to rank every fast-food fish sandwich in New Jersey, so you don't have to. Here's his ranking:

  1. Burger King Fiery Big Fish: This was the clear winner with a spicy twist on its regular fish sandwich. Unlike some of the other sandwiches on the list, it was packed with flavor. For anybody looking to spice up their Lenten season, this is the one to try!
  2. Checkers Crispy Fish Sandwich: The standout feature of this sandwich was the tartar sauce! This sandwich was one of the biggest surprises on this list because of how fresh and hot the fish tasted.
  3. Arby's Crispy Fish Sandwich: This classic, simple fish sandwich has everything you want, good tartar sauce and crispy fish! Sometimes, less is better.
  4. Arby's King's Hawaiian Fish Deluxe: Arby's steps it up with a sweet King's Hawaiian bun and wild-caught Alaskan pollock. A solid contender for a good fish sandwich!
  5. Burger King Big Fish: This sandwich tasted more like chicken than fish, but surprisingly tasty! Not the most exciting, but definitely not the worst.
  6. White Castle Panko Fish Slider: The flavor was a bit lacking, with the fish tasting more like a kid's fish stick. It's a predictable and reliable option.
  7. McDonald's Filet-O-Fish: The most famous fish sandwich on the list, but it lacks flavor. The soft, squishy bun is the best part, but overall, it's underwhelming.
  8. Arthur Treacher's Fried Fish Sandwich: With only a handful of locations left in the country, maybe there's a reason. The batter overpowered the fish, leaving much to be desired.
  9. Wendy's Crispy Panko Fish Sandwich: Unfortunately, this sandwich didn't live up to Wendy's standards. The fish was oddly tough, and even pickles couldn't save it!
  10. Roy Rogers Beer Battered Cod Sandwich: If you happen to find a Roy Rogers, skip the fish sandwich. It tasted like low-quality cafeteria food, they should stick to what they know.
