Renee's Adoptables: Meet Christina!

MEET CHRISTINA!

Eight-month-old Christina is an adventurous girl looking for an active family that loves to be on the go! She is a very busy pup and has plenty of joy to share!

The family that Christina would love to play outside with her, must have experience with high-energy large breed dogs. Christina is going to need a family who has had experience with large, high-energy dogs before, and she's going to want to play, play, play! She may be small now but she will grow to be a mighty pup at an estimated forty-four pounds when she is fully grown! Charismatic Christina loves to learn and has a lot to learn about being a dog. She will need to continue her obedience training in order to get off to a great start in her new home.

Adults will be thrilled to have an adventure puppy like Christina. She will do well with adults! This adventurous pup wants to live with adults only, but she would love to share a home with a canine companion who is also high-energy and a large breed pup!

If Christina has captured your heart, she is available in Newington.

About CT Humane Society

Way back in 1881, a Hartford High School senior named Gertrude O. Lewis wanted to find a way to help animals of Connecticut. She gathered support in her community – including some of Connecticut’s most prominent citizens of the time – and that very same year, Gertrude founded the Connecticut Humane Society.

And all these years later, the work continues. CHS is the oldest and most comprehensive animal welfare organization in the state, serving thousands of pets every year. As an independent nonprofit organization, CHS does not receive any funding from the government and is not associated with any national animal welfare groups. The pets rely solely on the generosity and support of donors and volunteers.
