The Greater Hartford Go Red for Women Luncheon Takes Place on March 27

The Greater Hartford Go Red for Women luncheon will take place on March 27th from 11:30am - 2pm at the CT Convention Center in Hartford. We spoke with Duby McDowell, President, McDowell Communications Group and Chair of the Greater Hartford Go Red for Women Luncheon; and Adria Giordano, Executive Director, American Heart Association Connecticut to find out more about this special event.

Men and women from the corporate, medical, educational, and social communities will be present to support the mission. Attendees will gain valuable knowledge about their heart health featuring an inspiring survivor speaker and a keynote address. The Go Red for Women event experience focuses on connection and engagement - fostering an atmosphere of interaction and networking at every turn.

The Go Red for Women movement, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is designed to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death for women in the United States, as well as generate funds for lifesaving cardiovascular research for women. This signature women-focused event coincides with the American Heart Association’s centennial year, and will feature a keynote speaker, inspirational survivor, silent auction and a heart healthy lunch.
