A mom in Iowa was relaxing by the pool when her son crashed his ATV into a fence and a tree.Christina Brenner saw the accident happen and rushed to help him and since she just graduated from nursing school, she knew exactly what to do.
Brenner knew her son Peyton hit a major artery, so she put her medical training to work. The mom used her bikini tip as a tourniquet to tie off his leg and it saved her son’ life. Paramedics say it’s likely he could’ve died within two minutes if she hadn’t reacted so quickly.
Peyton is now recovering and doing well, all thanks to his mother. He says there’s a lot of talk about health care heroes, and his mom is his biggest hero.
