A big brother in Wyoming is winning hearts over on the Internet for jumping in front of a dog that was running to attack his little sister. Bridger Walker is only six, but that didn’t stop him from being the hero and protecting his younger sister.
His aunt,Nikki Walker, shared the story on Instagram, writing that he deliberately stood in front of her and the dog attacked him instead. He was bitten badly on the cheek and ended up needing around 90 stitches on his face. She shares that despite his injury, he still managed to help his sister get away and hide from the dog.
Nikki says Bridger is doing well and recovering at home and that he’s in great spirits. Her posts have been shared hundreds of thousands of times and lots of people are showing this brave little boy some love, and that’s what she was hoping to get by posting about him.
