Meet Peter, a handsome tan retriever mix that is patiently awaiting a new home. Peter is 2 years old and weighs 40 pounds. Initially Peter can be shy, but with time your love will win him over. He will require a family that is patient with him as he makes the adjustment to his new home, as well as a family that will spend time meeting the needs of a younger pup. He has a medium energy level that can be met with playtime and walks daily. Peter is still in the process of training in some aspects. He is fully crate- and leash-trained, but is still in the process of being house-trained. His training will require patience as he is still learning lots of about life. Not only is he learning more about becoming an obedient pup, he is also learning about his likes and dislikes. He does well in a home with other dogs, but he has not yet had the opportunity to be in a home with cats or children. Peter is eager to learn and grow as a pup. He is ready to meet the people he can call his forever family. The fee for adoption is $450. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and transport fees. Interested in adopting Peter?
