A missing dog from Florida was found across the country and ended up in a Michigan backyard. Kris Gibson of Mt. Morris Township, Michigan, was letting her dog out when she found the large dog and she took him to an animal hospital to check for a microchip. Except, it wasn’t just some random dog from a nearby neighborhood. They found one and discovered Simba the dog had somehow traveled from Miami - more than 1,400 miles from Michigan.
No one is sure how Simba made the trip in just two months, but everyone is glad he’s been found safe and sound. He’s now being reunited with his Florida family who are “very happy” and “excited to get him back.”
