Due to coronavirus fears, the annual Arnold Sports Festival didn’t allow general spectators to attend this year. And that left them with a ton of food and no one to eat it. So the Columbus, Ohio event - which includes the Arnold Classic, a bodybuilding competition named afterArnold Schwarzenegger- donated the food to those affected by the tornado in Nashville.
The fest had enough food to feed 200-thousand attendees and sent it to feed first responders and others affected by the deadly tornadoes in Tennessee.Molly Dale, general manager for the Greater Columbus Convention Center’s food service provider explains, “We wanted something positive to happen to the food.”
