Thieves have reportedly made off with possibly more than a billion dollars worth of treasure in a night time burglary of a German museum.
The Green Vault in Dresden houses one of Europe's largest collections dating back to the Baroque period. The thieves reportedly switched off electricity to the museum before stealing priceless jewelry and gemstones. The bandits possibly escaped in a limousine.
Authorities are now trying to figure out exactly how the theft happened.
