Do You Need Reliable, Eager Employees This Summer?
CRT’s Summer Youth Employment Program has 190 Students Seeking Job Opportunities
Attention employers in the City of Hartford and East Hartford! Do you need reliable help this summer? The Community Renewal Team (CRT), in conjunction with Capital Workforce Partners, can help line you up with a student employee for the summer at NO COST to your business.
CRT’s Summer Youth Employment Program is a unique opportunity that provides jobs in the public and private sectors to youth (ages 14 - 21) each year during the summer months. The participants work between 24 – 40 hours a week (a maximum of 120 hours per participant) during July and August for a period of up to six weeks.
This year, CRT is seeking businesses both large and small, as well as nonprofits and schools, to host CRT’s summer youth program participants. Job sectors include: retail, education, arts and humanities, social services, sports and youth development.
And the best part of all? There is no cost to employers for participating in this program – all of the participants are paid through a grant provided by Capital Workforce Partners, the City of Hartford, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, and the State of Connecticut.
