25th Annual Woman Of Merit Event
Join the Girl Scouts of Connecticut as they host their 25th Annual Woman of Merit Celebration at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich on Wednesday June 13!
Girl Scouts of Connecticut invites all supporters and friends across the state to its 25th Annual Woman of Merit event where it will celebrate “25 Years of Fearless Women” and acknowledge all of its past Women of Achievement recipients. The fundraiser and dinner will run from 5:30-9:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich.
The award is given in honor of Alice Pattison Merritt, an extraordinary public leader who became the first woman elected to the Connecticut Senate and who was instrumental in bringing Girl Scouting to girls in Connecticut. This year’s honorees feature two fearless women, Madonna Badger, CCO/Founder of Badger & Winters and Susan Lasota, Senior Managing Director of State Street Global Advisors. The organization will also honor Girl Scout Danielle Wildman from Bethel, CT with the Courage, Confidence, and Character Award, which is awarded to a person who has overcome unique challenges in her life to make outstanding contributions to her community or achieve extraordinary success.
