Director Michael Bay, whose new movie Pain & Gain opens Friday, is denying that he apologized for his blockbuster Armageddon. Bay reportedly told the Miami Herald,   “I will apologize for Armageddon, because we had to do the whole movie in 16 weeks. It was a massive undertaking. That was not fair to the movie. I would redo the entire third act if I could." But yesterday Bay took to his website to argue that his words were taken out of context. “I'm not in the slightest going to apologize for the third movie in my movie career, a film called Armageddon,” explained Bay. “What I clearly said to the reporter, is I wish I had more time to edit the film, specifically the third act.” Added Bay, “I'm proud of the movie. While reports claimed that Khloe Kardashian wasn’t asked back to X Factor because she didn’t get along with Mario Lopez, Radaronline reports it was actually Khloe’s mother Kris Jenner who had issues with Mario. “Everyone thinks that Mario hated working with Khloe,” a source told Radar. “But he was nothing but encouraging and supportive (to Khloe). It was her mother Kris who was the problem.” The source claims Kris would complain to producers that Mario was “pushy and insensitive” and that he and Khloe didn’t have any chemistry. She even had the nerve to suggest Mario be replaced by one of the other Kardashian sisters. Unfortunately her complaints seem to backfire on Kris. Said the insider, “Well, the producers agreed with the no chemistry argument, but also that Khloe was in over her head – and that’s why she’s gone.” Meanwhile, Kris has started raiding her daughter’s wardrobe. The 57-year-old attended an E! event in New York Monday wearing a red Valentino mini-dress that her daughter Kim Kardashian wore just 11 months earlier. Kris was also sporting an iPhone case that read “Queen of F***ing Everything.”

Q-Kris Jenner is the mother of how many kids? 6 [Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Rob, Kylie and Kendall]

Shae went to court to get a permanent injunction stopping Jesse from selling the tape, and the judge went one step further, ordering Jesse to destroy it. According to reports, the judge was likely swayed to Shae’s side when Jesse admitted in court he was just shopping the tape to “ruin (Shae’s) life.” In the end, Jesse claimed he had already burned the tape when he found out Shae was taking him to court.

Sounds like Mad Men needs to find a new fact checker. In Sunday’s episode, Christina Hendricks’ character Joan Harris tells her visiting friend she made reservations for dinner at Le Cirque, but that would have been impossible. As the New York Post points out, this season is set in 1968, and the famed New York City restaurant didn’t open until 1974. This isn’t the first time the AMC drama has made such continuity errors. An early screener of last season’s premiere, set in 1966, originally featured the Dusty Springfield song “The Look of Love,” but that tune wasn’t released until 1967, forcing creator Matthew Weiner to change the song before it aired. In another episode, Elisabeth Moss’ character Peggy goes to the doctor to go on the pill, and the wall calendar read March, 1960, but the birth control pill wasn’t approved by the FDA until May of that year.

Q-Who is the father of Joan Harris’ son? Roger Sterling (John Slattery)

Gwyneth Paltrow credits Leonardo DiCaprio with getting her to rethink eating red meat back in the early 90s. "He was vegetarian and he'd talk about how dirty meat is and how bad factory farming is,” Paltrow tells The Observer. “I haven't eaten red meat in 20 years, and although Leo's not totally responsible, he definitely planted a seed.” Paltrow is known for her picky diet, and has said in the past that she tries to keep her kids away from processed foods like Oreos and such, but she does admit, “I’m a realist and I have kids and I love Oreos too, so honestly I’m not rigid at all.”

Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow has come under fire for selling designer bikinis for children on her Goop website. The swimsuits are part of a collection by designer Melissa Odabash, and they’re priced at $45 each. “We remain very opposed to the sexualization of children and of childhood,” a rep for the child safety charity Kidscape told The Mail. “The dangers have been discussed at length, so it is a great pity that such trends continue and that they carry celebrity endorsement." A rep for the Iron Man 3 star called the controversy “absurd,” adding, “‘Two-piece bathing suits have been worn by young girls for decades.”
