TMZ reports that Justin Bieber is being investigated for battery. According to the site, Justin got into a verbal altercation yesterday morning with one of his neighbors, which turned violent. The accuser claims Justin made physical contact with him and he subsequently filed a police report. Cops were at Justin’s Calabasas, CA, home yesterday to question him. Sources close to Justin say the man came to the house to complain that there were loud parties going on at the home while Justin was overseas. Later, reports claim the argument started because Justin was racing his new Ferarri around the block in the early morning hours. Justin allegedly told the man to stay off his property, but sources insist the singer did not have any physical contact with the accuser. Justin’s security then escorted the neighbor off the property.


Former Pittsburgh Steelers star Kordell Stewart has filed for divorce from his Real Housewives of Atlanta star wife Porsha Williams. Kordell filed court papers on March 22nd, saying the marriage is “irretrievably broken” and that he and his wife are currently separated. The couple married in May, 2011. In his filing, Kordell argues that he shouldn’t have to pay Porsha any money because, "[She's] an able-bodied person, earning income and is capable of supporting herself."  Porsha says she was “disappointed” by her husband’s filing, and learned about he had done so by reading it in the press. Over the years there have been rumors regarding Kordell’s sexuality. Recently a radio station asked Porsha about claims that Kordell was gay and she denied them, saying, “There’s lies out there on the Internet about all kinds of celebrities.”



Ashley Greene’s house fire Friday that killed one of her two dogs was a tragedy, but TMZ reports that to her neighbors, it wasn’t a huge shock. Several sources tell the site that the Twilight star was a terrible neighbor, and constantly had friends and fellow actors coming and going from her place at all hours of the night. It was so bad, the people in the apartment below had trouble sleeping because of all the commotion. In addition, sources say Ashley didn’t control her barking dogs, prompting several neighbors to complain to management, but they never did anything about it.

James Franco and Anne Hathaway had a falling out after they hosted the 2011 Oscars, but Franco insists they are all good now. During a radio interview earlier this week he was asked about the feud, which prompted Franco to say that Hathaway “does not want me to talk about this.” When asked about all the hate that has been thrown at the Les Miz star lately, Franco said, “I’m not an expert on – I guess they’re called Hatha-haters,” and added that he and Anne “haven’t talked in a while.” But, he insists they don’t hate each other. Said Franco, “Anne and I made up by the way. Let’s just get that on the record.” In the same interview, Franco admitted that he once had the chance to sleep with Lindsay Lohan but passed. The incident happened years ago when they were both living at the Chateau Marmont hotel. When asked outright if he turned her down, Franco replied, “I mean, I don't want to brag about it,” adding, “I don't know how that got out."

In other James Franco news…he was on the Late Show with David Letterman Monday and got the talk show host to discuss why his Spring Breakers director Harmony Korine has been banned from the show since the late 90s.   Rumors claimed Korine was blacklisted because he pushed Meryl Streep, but Letterman said that’s not true. The talk show host said he had gone to Streep’s dressing room to say hi but she wasn’t there, and added, “I looked around and found your friend Harmony going through her purse.” Said Letterman, “I said, ‘Ok that’s it – put her things back in her bag and get out of here.’” Franco defended his friend, suggesting that he was probably “on something” that night.


Author Buzz Bissinger, best known for writing the book Friday Night Lights on which the movie and TV series was based, has admitted in a GQ magazine essay that he is addicted to shopping. “I own 81 leather jackets, 75 pairs of boots, 41 pairs of leather pants, 32 pairs of haute couture jeans, 10 evening jackets, and 115 pairs of leather gloves,” writes the 58-year-old. Bissinger says that between 2010 and 2012 he spent over $580,000 on clothes. He says his addiction began after his youngest child went off to college, and his wife took a job in Abu Dhabi. He has since checked himself into rehab and says he wrote the essay to help others struggling with the addiction, “as well as self-expression and the damage that can be done by denying who you are.”


Actor Clive Mantle, who plays Lord Greatjon Umber on HBO’s Game of Thrones, was attacked in the UK Sunday morning and had part of his ear bitten off. The 55-year-old was having an argument about noise outside his Newcastle hotel when the attack happened. Doctors were able to sew the top part of his ear back on. "He is very shaken and shocked by what has happened. You don't expect this kind of thing to happen in a hotel," Mantle's spokesman said. "The part of the ear that was bitten off was found and sewn back on. Mr. Mantle said the police, ambulance, and hospital staff were amazing." A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with wounding with intent. The season premiere of Game of Thrones airs Sunday on HBO.

Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts will receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at this summer’s ESPY Awards. ESPN is saluting Roberts for keeping viewers involved in her treatment for two serious illnesses, breast cancer and a rare blood disorder. Roberts joined GMA after working at ESPN (an ABC sister company), where she was the network’s first black female sportscaster.


The Kardashian klan is not very happy about the Ford Figo ad that appeared in India, which had them bound and gagged in the trunk of a car driven by Paris Hilton. The siblings’ lawyer tells omg! Insider they’re considering taking legal action against the company. The family called the ads “disgusting, vile and offensive to all women.” Ford has already apologized.


Homeland fans shouldn’t get their hopes up for a Carrie and Brody reunion, according to Brody portrayer Damien Lewis. “Brody and Carrie are over…I think it’s over,” he told Digital Spy over the weekend. “I don’t think those two can be together. Can you imagine them being married and bringing up kids?” He added that the romance is not “a story that has got legs,” and says, “they’d be in the divorce court very quickly.” The third season of Homeland is scheduled to return in September.

Dennis Quaid is denying weekend reports that claimed he and his estranged wife Kimberly had reunited. The couple filed for divorce in November after several attempts at reconciliation and TMZ claimed they were back on yet again. But a rep for Quaid tells E! the story “is not true,” adding, “They are divorcing.”

Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar have 19 kids, but they’re not necessarily ready to stop adding to their family. “We are open to the idea of adoption," Michelle, 45, tells People. "We are praying about it, and we will see what God has in store." Michelle says the family’s recent visit to an orphanage in China is what inspired their talk of adoption. “The kids are definitely pushing towards wanting us to open our home up to another child or more," says Michelle. "They see how much we have been blessed with and how little so many children have and they want to share. We tell our children that would have to be something that is God's will for our family, and we will see if it is. Our children love children, and we all do."


œ Seth Green will star in the new Seth MacFarlane Fox series Dads. The comedy, which has earned a six-episode order from the network, centers on two successful guys in their thirties whose lives are turned upside down when their dads move in with them. This isn’t the first collaboration between the two Seths. Green already provides the voice for Chris Griffin on MacFarlane’s animated series Family Guy.
