During a press conference on Monday afternoon, Mayor Luke Bronin announced his decision to terminate the indoor mask mandate in Hartford, effective immediately.
Mayor Bronin said the decision was based off of the latest COVID-19 trends and data, citing the low number of cases and low daily positivity rates.
The mayor did also state that if there is another surge of cases, the mandate may once again be placed into effect.
