The Meriden Fire Department will host the 16th annual Back to School Expo at the Meriden Green later this morning, making backpacks filled with school supplies available at no charge for underprivileged students from kindergarten through eighth grade on Aug. 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This year, the Fire Department has nearly 2,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to hand out. Need one? Come get one today!
