The Children’s Museum Group to Host Annual Gala

Demonstrations, Speakers, Awards and more.

On March 15, The Children’s Museum Group will host its annual gala entitled “A Child’s World: Imagine the Possibilities” at The Hartford Golf Club from 5:30-8:30PM. It will be a celebration of over 90-years of service to Connecticut’s children, families and communities.

Guests will be treated to a variety of engaging examples of the work the museum does. Examples of its wildlife programs, educational outreach, hands-on exhibits, nature-based and family programs will be led by Museum staff during a fun filled cocktail reception. The following dinner event, Emceed by Renee DiNino of IHeart Media, will present information on the museum’s legacy and future as well as feature presentation of its annual Youth Champion and Rising Star Awards. The Youth Champion Award will be presented to Senator Beth Bye, recognizing the outstanding work she has done and continues to do fighting for the education and safety of young people. The Rising Star Award recognizes exemplary accomplishments and promise of an exceptional youth inspired by significant involvement with The Children’s Museum and/or Roaring Brook Nature Center.

Individual tickets, sponsorships and ad book advertisement space for the event are available for purchase by contacting Joe DeFeo at jdefeo@thechildrensmuseum.org or calling 860 231-2830x420.
